Der Bassist, Komponist und Bandleader Joshua Ginsburg tritt seit über 25 Jahren international auf und spielte unter anderem in Ensembles unter der Leitung von Kurt Rosenwinkel, David Friedman, Joe Chambers, George Cables, Jeremy Pelt, E.J. Strickland, George Colligan, Melissa Aldana, Myron Walden, Jure Pukl und Logan Richardson. Joshua stammt ursprünglich aus Baltimore, Maryland, lebte 20 Jahre lang in Brooklyn, New York, und wohnt heute in Berlin. Er arbeitet weiterhin regelmäßig mit Musikern der amerikanischen und europäischen Musikszene zusammen.

Joshua Ginsburg hat einen B.F.A.der New School/Mannes School of Music, wo er bei Buster Williams, John Webber und Hal Galper studierte, sowie einen M.A. des City College of New York, wo er bei John Patitucci Kontrabass und bei David del Tredici Komposition studierte.

Bassist, composer, and bandleader Joshua Ginsburg has been performing internationally for over 25 years, having appeared in ensembles led by Kurt Rosenwinkel, David Friedman, Joe Chambers, George Cables, Jeremy Pelt, E.J. Strickland, George Colligan, Melissa Aldana, Myron Walden, Jure Pukl, Logan Richardson, among others. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Joshua lived for 20 years in Brooklyn, New York, and now resides in Berlin, Germany. He continues to collaborate regularly with musicians in both the American and European music scenes.

Mr. Ginsburg holds a B.F.A. from New School/Mannes School of Music, where he studied with Buster Williams, John Webber, and Hal Galper, and a M.A. from City College of New York, where he studied bass with John Patitucci and composition with David del Tredici.
